Light Educational Ministries is constantly writing and upgrading our range of curriculum materials, drawing on many years of experience in Christian education. Much of the material designed for the junior grades is for use with the LEM Phonics method of writing and reading. Books are predominantly A4 size and are saddle stitched or wire bound.

 | LEM Phonics 2020 LEM Phonics 2020 represents the largest revision of LEM Phonics to date. Several changes have been made to the phonograms and the rules, but all in the name of consistency and simplicity. Resources have been polished and updated. A significant upgrade is the provision of state-based handwriting resources, featuring scripts used in all Australian schools. Please contact the office or your nearest LEM Phonics Registered Instructor to find out how you can either transition from the existing program, or start fresh with the new 2020 resources. |
 | LEM Phonics Legacy LEM Phonics Legacy version is the original 1997 intensive phonics method that enjoyed success in both Australian and overseas EAL markets and pioneered phonics as a superior method of literacy training in Australia. We continue to provide most resources for this version to support those still completing the program, but we encourage all new users to begin with the 2020 version of LEM Phonics. LEM Phonics 2020 contains significant upgrades and simplification of the original material, whilst retaining the core principles. |
